The Department of Hindi was established in 1991 in the Sharadchandraji Pawar College. The Hindi subject is being taught since its inception at special and general level. Department is actively involved in promoting Hindi Language and Literature by giving emphasis on teaching and research. It is functioning as full-fledged department with the facility of the study for Hindi Literature at undergraduate level.
